"The 1 May protests were supported by hundreds of organizations and set to take place in nearly 1,000 cities, organizers said, with a focus on rallying against the Trump administration and “billionaire profiteers”. Turnout was predicted to be lower than the previous two April #protests because 1 May is a weekday, but tens of thousands were expected to turn out. Cities across the US from New York to Seattle to Anchorage, Alaska, saw major demonstrations."

Both in #France and in #Germany the police clamped down on the #May1 demonstrations, in the case of #Germany, targeting the pro #Palestine contingent.

This are the "Western Values" I hear so much about, policemen beating with batons unarmed protesters and taking extra care in silencing voices calling out a genocide.

Only a violent overthrow of the powers that sustain this order can change this.
