Egg prices/Public therapy sessions wont defeat Nazism
--

All those Closeted shitlib, Shitlib & Fashlib morons in Empire who were talking about egg prices & somehow hoping that will make Nazis unpopular, well, Nazis & Closeted Nazis dont give a fuck about it.

They care more about humiliating & harming others. Humiliation is the point. Keeping the weak in their place is the point. Persecution is the point.

All bullshit "Worker Solidarity" politics (erasing all other real oppression characteristics, and demand all of the subsume everything into artificially constrained worker identity) leads only here. The "worker solidarity" people, who are unwilling to confront Nazis from dominant segments, are & will be completely unprepared for Nazism, when it starts entrenching & strengthening itself.

Many of the proponents of "worker solidarity" people will even join Nazis once they realize Nazis have taken over everything & they dont face as much heat as those other people, because many of them belong to the dominant segment themselves. At that point, even if you want to build Anti-Nazi groups, the pool of people available to recruit has already diminished significantly from dominant segment of society, as large number of people already see they get better deal from Nazism than opposing Nazism. So, they become Nazis themselves.

This is one reason (not the only reason) why OG Nazis too were able to convince large segments of "German" society, to let them target each group, one at a time, till the regime reached the ultimate stages it has reached.

On rupture with past
--

We will know what each of our society actually is, when there is an unanticipated rupture with the past.

When there is such a rupture, some start constructing a fictional past that was great & long for it, while others see that the rupture is showing us what past has always been & what past has successfully hidden from us.

Later kind learns from rupture, while the former doesnt. Former kind not only not learn, rather double downs on it & want to restore the same past that led to the present.

One needs to have contempt for the former kind as they represent everything wrong with past, because even tho its a rupture (if it exposed underlying rot ⇒ current state is worse than previous state) even if its bad, is trying to teach us a lesson & those who long for the past that led to rupture dont want to learn any lesson (or) learn wrong lessons.

When we are in the situation where there is a rupture, some useful set of questions to ask are:

What kind of rotten system/s would bring us to the state we are in now?

Why should we long for the same shit that brought us to current state, rather than identify & work for a new & better state that would never bring us to the bad situation we currently are in?

What more did we not know about our past (or) successfully hidden from us, that led to the ruptured present?

# Signature of an agreement SDF - Provisional Government

On Monday, March 10, SDF commander Mazloum Abdi and Syrian President Ahmad al-Shar’a sign an agreement formalizing what was already discussed and confirming cooperation towards a shared security framework. It ensures Kurdish political rights and paves the way for integration of major institutions. DAANES institutions back the agreement gladly, hoping that it will put an end to the different conflicts like the clashes erupted on the coast, will safeguard rights of Kurds, and will enable the return of IDPs and refugees to Afrin and other occupied territories. In the following days, the UN and relevant international state actors, such as Gulf states, European states, and US welcomed the SDF-Syrian government agreement.

# Aftermatch of Coastal insurgence

After few days of coordinated insurgent attacks on the coastal region of Latakia, the stronghold of Assad loyalists, forces of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) are, more or less,in control of the situation. Several insurgents had been killed or arrested in wide security operations, as well as several fighters linked to the MoD, mostly caught in ambushes by the insurgents. Many civilians, mostly Alawite population, have been killed or forced to flee looking for shelter in the Russian military base. Security operations continue, combing the insurgent areas. Insurgent attacks, even if not in the scale that they had been, also continue. Interim president al-Shara made declaration briefly acknowledged accusations of extrajudicial killings by HTS-led forces and promised that those who “exceeded the powers of the state” will be held accountable. Shara also appointed two Alawites and several competent, professional judges to a committee to investigate the crimes committed by government troops.

# Provisional Constitution of Syria

Interim Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara signed a provisional constitution on March 13, claiming to initiate a five-year transition period. The document is based on Islamic jurisprudence, remarking that the president of Syria must be Muslim. The constitution defends the freedoms of opinion, expression, information, publication and press, also defends religious freedom. The Constitutional Committee emphasized that the document ensures a separation of powers between the legislative, executive, and judicial branches. However, it ensures a lot of powers to the president, who will appoint a third of the "Peoples Assembly" and select a committee that will appoint the other two thirds. The president will also select the seven members of the Supreme Constitutional Court, also have right to declare state of emergency with the approval of the National Security Council, formed by the minsters of Defense, Interior, Intelligence and Foreign affairs. This grants al-Shara a massive influence over the formation and direction of the Syrian state. The SDC and other institutions of the DAANES, including the opposition party of ENKS, made declarations rejecting this constitution and denouncing how it perpetuates the presidential model of the Assad regime, not reflecting the plurality of Syria. Druze authorities also made declarations in the same direction.

# Turkey continue on the offensive

After the agreement between Mazlum Abdi and Ahmed al-Shara, there was a question of how much this implies the end of hostilities between SNA and SDF. But clearly nothing really changed on the ground. Turkey continued their attacks with planes and drones over the Eufrates region around Tishreen dam, were the civilian protests still ongoing. There have been renewed attacks with heavy weapons on differnet points of the M4 like Til Temir and Ain Issa frontlines. Turkish foreign minister made declarations declaring that will monitor closely the implementations of the agreements with SDF, calling to make no concessions for any attempt of self-administration.

# Continuing repatriations from Al-Hol camp to Iraq

After Iraq halted repatriations from Iraqi citizens in al-Hol camp for a short period, and following coordinated efforts between DANNES and the Iraqi state, more than 600 Iraqi former arrested had been allowed to return to Iraq. This also comes after The provisional government announced that they are ready to take control of the ISIS prisons currently under control of SDF.

# Points of agreement signed by SDF and the provisional government:

Political Participation – Full representation and rights for all Syrian communities, including Kurds, in state institutions based on merit rather than sectarian or ethnic background.
Kurdish Rights – Recognition of the Kurdish community as an integral part of Syria, ensuring constitutional rights and citizenship protections.
Security and Stability – A ceasefire across Syrian territories, aiming to reduce hostilities and facilitate political dialogue.
Institutional Integration – The merging of all civil and military institutions in northeast Syria into the national framework, including border crossings, airports, and energy resources.
Refugee Return – Guarantees for the safe return of displaced Syrians to their homes under government protection.
Sovereignty Protection – Joint efforts to counter external threats, including armed groups and foreign interventions that destabilize Syria.
Combating Extremism – Enhanced cooperation in counterterrorism efforts against ISIS and other extremist factions.
Ending Division and Sectarian Rhetoric – Rejecting hate speech and ensuring national reconciliation.

# Evaluation

The recent agreement between Mazlum Abdi and Ahmed al-Shara, happening at the same time than the massacres against Alawite population, leaves a bitter taste. The agreement brings nothing new, nothing more than what was already discussed. It is the formalization on paper to reach common agreements for Syria. It takes a step to make sure that no national-scale decisions and talks are made without people of northeastern Syria. Still, it is hard to see the future of the revolution through the large scale moves of state-level diplomacy.

At the same time, we need to ask ourselves: what would we like to see? What is the alternative? What could be done in this situation? Is there any better way to proceed, something that aligns better with anarchists values and respects the will and the needs of the people of north-east Syria? Honestly, these are very difficult questions.

We need to reflect what all this means. What it means for the people here, wearied by war, with the Turkish threats of a full scale invasion still looming? What it means for the revolution, with the collapse of the Assad regime but with a new authotitarian goverment rising over the same structures of nation-state? And also what it means for us, revolutionary anarchists who committed to support and defend this revolution?

In comparison with everything around it and beyond, NE Syria is clearly the most exciting political proposal in the region. Can it survive the war, the lack of resources, the attacks from all sides, the cooptation Can it avoid collapse and annihilation? Can people defend what they fought and died for, and live their lives in dignity? Time is desperately needed to ensure positive answers to these questions. And the moves we see in past weeks do buy the revolution some time. What we are trying to do here defies th logic of capitalist modernity, and this is not an easy thing to do. And as every revolution, whatever happens will bring lessons for the next ones to come.

Revolutionary greetings! 🖤

tekosinaanarsist.noblogs.orgWar updates | Têkoşîna Anarşîst
Continued thread

I'm only 24, turning 25 this year, and I'm glad I found my way early on. Some people might think @nsf_iaa is just some propaganda group, but to me, they're true to anarcho-syndicalist ideas.

I might not see an anarcho-syndicalist society in my lifetime, but I'm happy to be part of it by joining @nsf_iaa. Even if they're not as big as they used to be back in the 1920s, every little bit helps in making another anarcho-syndicalist's day brighter.

I love anarcho-syndicalist ideas and I won't apologize for them. I hate how money, bosses, political parties, and hierarchical systems control our lives.

What I really want is to make things based on what people actually need, not just for profit. I'd rather create stuff for my local community, not some big company that doesn't care about us. I want to work with my union to make decisions that benefit us, not just some distant corporation.

Continued thread

I've never been a fan of bosses or systems where someone tells you what to do. I've never voted for a political party, and I'm not into monarchies either. And while I use money because it's necessary in our capitalist world, I've always felt weird about it. The thing is, no one knows what I need better than I do myself.

All these things are exactly what we anarchists and syndicalists are fighting against.

Anarchists, especially those aligned with anarcho-syndicalism, seek to dismantle all forms of hierarchy, to create a society where individuals and communities can organize themselves freely, particularly in workplaces and communities, without external control.

Syndicalists, especially those aligned with anarcho-syndicalism, focus on building democratic unions that let workers manage their workplaces through solidarity and mutual aid, aiming for a society where resources are distributed based on need.

In the end, it's about building a society where workers manage their own workplaces and communities through democratic unions and solidarity, free from the control of bosses and the state, and where resources are shared based on need, not profit.

Piratpartiet in Norway is, in my opinion, not taken seriously.

- piratpartiet.no

Despite sharing some of their values, such as those related to computer operating systems, privacy, security, decentralization, and direct democracy, I believe that any political party, whether it's communist, pirate, fascist, liberal, or anything in between, ultimately leads to corruption and suppression.

I want workers to be in charge of their own workplaces, working with their union. The idea is that they produce what their local community needs, and the decisions are made by the workers themselves through democratic unions. This way, the people who actually do the work get to say what happens at their workplace. It's about communities taking care of their own needs directly.

Examples of self organising and action in the waves of protests in Serbia

slrpnk.net/post/20051195

slrpnk.netExamples of self organising and action in the waves of protests in Serbia - SLRPNKHello, I’m not 100% sure if this post fits here, but I figured it might be interesting and (possibly) of use to some people. Namely, for those who don’t know, there are major protests going on in Serbia since November, which has caused monumental changes to the society here, and I feel like many aspects of these events align strongly with anarchist principles. With that in mind, I’d like to give a brief rundown of what happened just to give some context, and the effects it had on the society in terms of self-organisation, given that these are real events with real people participating. 1) Corruption and deaths I’ll be brief here. The Serbian government since 2012 has been run by the mafia. By that I mean both things like that the government exerts huge power over everyone employed in the public sector (and abuses it constantly) and things like the fact that the biggest illegal cannabis plantation in Europe was accidentally discovered in Serbia, and the officer who discovered that got suspended and nobody was prosecuted. After dozens upon dozens of scandals, each of which would be enough to bring down a government in any sane country, the general populace basically gave up on the idea of having a country at all, it is taken for granted that every single institution is in service to one man (Aleksandar Vucic, the current president), and the opposition in the parliament was and still is a joke. On the 1st of November 2024, the canopy above the train station in the city of Novi Sad collapsed, killing 15 people (initially, one more person was confirmed dead last week). The train station was renovated and reopened that same year in July. Students of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade started blocking the roads for 15 mins (1 minute for each killed), when they were attacked by a group of hooligans (who are often used as a sort of a paramilitary for the government). 2) The students revolt As the police did not move a finger, the students from the faculty took over the faculty building and announced that the faculty is blocked. Studets from other faculties and universities soon followed, and soon all universities in Serbia stopped working, as the students took over. They announced 4 demands that they want to be met before things can return to normal. The demands are ingenious in their own right, but the thing I want to focus on here is how the students organised themselves. First of all, nobody is allowed inside the university buildings except other students, you get checked when entering. They have transformed every building to include places to eat, sleep, and have formed teams, each with their tasks. Food and supplies are given as donations, as the students have overwhelming support from the general populace. Every major decision is made in a plenary session (or plenum). Every student can participate, make proposals, and voice their opinion on the topic at hand. After the discussions end, the question is decided by voting. If a decision passes, working groups are formed and the decision gets executed. The most important thing here is that there are absolutely no leaders. Every time someone needs to appear in public, the decision is made inside a plenum, and every time the representative is someone else to avoid any one person being perceived as a leader. This has made it insanely hard for the government to battle against the students, as they cannot target a signle person or a small group, and it also made so that the students are receiving support from everyone, from ultranationalists to vegan anarchists, as the movement is based purely around the concrete demands (that can be simply summed up as: “We want the institutions to function as intended”), and not any specific charismatic leader or ideology. 3) Actions taken The students and people together started regularly blocking the roads all over Serbia every day for 15 minutes at 11:52 (the time when the canopy collapsed). While this went on without incidents most of the time, there were notable moments when thugs came out of a car and started attacking people, and a number of times people rammed the crowd with their cars. Each of these incidents caused more people to join the protests. Education workers in primary and secondary schools went on strike in support of the student demands, as did the lawyers. Soon, the students started calling for mass protests. They blocked an important highway in Belgrade by staying there for 24h, a few weeks later all 3 bridges in Novi Sad across the Danube were blocked, 2 for 3h and the biggest one for 24h. After the 24h expired, a “citizen plenum” was held, where it was put up to a vote for all present whether the blockades should be extended for 3 more hours (it was just symbolic, but I would call it a notable event). 2 weeks later another mass demonstration was held in Kragujevac, then 2 weeks later in Nis. These three cities are respectively in the norther, central and southern part of the country. The students thus motivated people from all over the country to join in, as most protests have historically been only in Belgrade and Novi Sad, the two biggest cities. Then, two weeks ago, protests were held in Belgrade, the biggest ones in Serbian history. Also worth noting is that for the protests in Novi Sad, students from Belgrade walked 80km for 2 days to get to Novi Sad, even sleeping out in the open in the middle of winter. They were greated as liberators in every place the passed, and this walking of insane distances became a regular thing thereafter. All this caused more and more people to become involved. 4) The people join Protests started being held all over the country. Pretty much every place that has more than 1000 inhabitants had at least one protest. It became so insane at one point that a website was created to keep track of upcoming ones (kudanaprotest.rs [http://kudanaprotest.rs]). Local groups started being formed based on the exact same organisation as the student ones (all participants are equal, every decision is made inside a plenum). People formed groups to block roads themselves, other groups were formed to collect supplies for the students, other groups were formed to cook and bring fresh food to the students every day, etc etc. When the government announced that teachers in strike will not be receiving their salaries, groups formed a system by which people can donate money that would go towards teachers that have not been paid. 5) Local communities As the students could not, and didn’t even want to, be the leaders of any force, they asked the people to organise themselves by the way of public assemblies, or “zbor” in Serbian. A zbor is essentially the same thing as a plenum. Each city in Serbia is divided up into many ‘local communities’ or “mesna zajednica”. They are not very influential bodies, and most are governed by the ruling party anyways, but they were identified as a perfect way to get people to organise themselves. Groups started popping out everywhere for each mesna zajednica, and thus entire neighbourhoods started connecting and attending zbors in their respective areas, with the idea that neighbourhoods could organise themselves and take over the mesne zajednice officially, and then they could all work together and start taking over the public positions in the cities. A decision made by a zbor can be taken to the city as a suggestion by the citizens, so it does have some limited value, but the main point here is that it made people all over the country come together with their neighbours to discuss how they can make their surroundings better. 6) The rise in popularity of decentralized organisation and the influence of aesthetics on public opinion Direct democracy is now the norm in the minds of many. Suggesting that anything else is almost contraversial. It came to a point where many people are saying that we don’t need any politicians or the parliament, zbors should take over everything. While this of course won’t happen, it is very interesting how this idea became so widespread, and how decentralized organisations with direct democracy at their core were widely accepted when everyone saw how far the students managed to get. Also worth noting is that this was all started by students, young people, which dispelled the myth that youngsters nowadays don’t care about politics. On the other hand, people did not suddenly become informed overnight. Very often it can be heard how we should be wary of both the “right wing” and “left wing”, instead we should just focus on our problems and solve them, and later we can “divide ourselves”. The left is mostly associated with people being “woke” and “hating their nation”, so that we have people in decentralised organisations, who participate in plenums, who are talking about forming unions, bashing the left and saying that we should stay away from “ideologies”. I think that this really speaks volumes on how the left is thought of by most people. Unless I severely misunderstood the left wing and anarchism, solidarity, equality, direct democracy and local communities are the very pillars upon which these “ideologies” stand on, and they have been shown to be extremely popular in Serbian society, and still if you mention the “left”, people will cringe, and if you mention “anarchism”, people will run away. We can see right here that the ideas we stand behind are tangible and popular, but that we have a serious branding problem. I guess the conclusion is that actions speak much louder than words, as ‘preaching’ decentralisation and equality will get your into bad faith debates, whereas the students have shown the way by personal example. 7) Conclusion Protests came and passed in Serbia many times in the last 13 years, but it is clear to everyone that this is something more. We are going through a change in society. The common people demonstrably can come together, organise, and fight a central authority and take matters into their own hands. Huge protests were recently held in Greece, in Hungary, in Turkey, in North Macedonia, and other places, and there are many more to come. We still have a long way to go, but I hope that this can be of some use to inspire people in other places in the world. All this show of solidarity and community building was not forced, it formed organically as the students lead the way by personal example and sacrifice. Show people that they don’t need a leader to keep them in line, show them that “the masses” are not stupid and can make intelligent decisions, show them how natural solidarity is, and show them how inequality has to be artificially created and upheld, and then they will come to understand. Thank you for your attention.
