I know we're only 3 games into the 2024 Regular Season but the pick up of #Chapman & #JHLee seems to be really paying off but the #Soler pick, not so much. 🤷‍♂️

In Spring Training (ST), Chapman batted .281 w/a .878 OPS & 2 HRs based on 32 ABs & in 1st 3 games of the Regular Season (RS), he's batting .357 w/a 1.214 OPS & 2 HRs based on 14 ABs.

In ST, JH Lee batted .333 w/a .887 OPS & 1 HR based on 36 ABs & in the 1st 3 games of the RS, he's batting .333 w/a .886 OPS & 1 HR based on 12 ABs.

On the other hand, in ST, Soler (who's only used as a DH) batted .286 w/a .733 OPS and NO HRs based on 42 ABs & in the 1st 3 games of the RS, he's batting .167 w/a .536 OPS and NO HRs in 12 ABs & it was really ANNOYING to see him hit into 2 DPs the other day with RISP.

So, my question is: What's "wrong" with Soler?" 🤔

When I've watched him batting, he just watches pitches thrown right down the middle & swings & misses on 💩 thrown way off the plate.

He hit 1 long ball last night but WTF??? 🤷‍♂️
