Another cool piece of retro tech from my local Habitat for Humanity store, a Revere 16mm sound film projector. Love All the metal with baked paint and the lovely case with a speaker behind the fancy grill and a hidden compartment for wires and accessories. Very nice for the time. Love it, but no place for it. Would be great in somebody's theater room or indie theater lobby.

Lovely vintage Revere 16mm sound movie projector with a a $75 thrift store price sign on it.
The case for the projector in the other picture, a brown wooden lid that fits over the top and latches at the bottom, with a carry handle on top. Part of one end is open with accessories inside. There is an elaborate grill on the side that covers a speaker.

Feeling really good about my mess of a workshop for a while. I picked up a very useful rolling cart/shelf at the Habitat for Humanity store for an amazing $5, that turned out not only to solve the problem I wanted it to (making my bench power tools more accessible and useful), but to provide a ton of useful storage and break a clutter logjam that's been snarling a corner of my shop for months.

Plywood cart with three shelves and rolling casters. A compound miter saw sits facing away from camera on top. The top three shelves have black plastic organizer trays with metric sockets, ratchets, and extensions. The card is very nicely made of high quality plywood and quite sturdy. Utilitarian, but made with care by someone who knew what they were doing.
Reverse side of the cart from the previous picture, seen from a 3/4 on view. The front of the saw is visible. The shelves on the lower part of the cart are the backs of the shelves on the other side. Two sided with a pass-through. On this side, three different sizes of plastic small part organizers (purchased at Harbor Freight) can be seen. There are seven organizers in all. Lots of part storage! The cart will store and transport one of my several bench power tools (the saw, a combo belt/disk sander, and a small drill press) when not in immediate use, allowing me to rotate them in and out of my limited work area.
