I missed the alchemy fun while I was off cleaning house in Yorkville but today I picked up the 温泉碗 that I made for our class’ #raku firing. Tried out a new glaze on the outside called “sunspot” that was suppsoed to produce nice green effects but you know how it goes with raku… apparently a part of our studio’s reduction process really brought out copper in everything that was fired this time. Can’t say I’ve ever gotten yellows like this before, though! Must make more. #potterbynight #ceramics
