Anyone with experience as to #MusicAssistant?
It's playing just fine and all, but it's not updating what song it's playing...
Which is just a bit a bummer. It's not a big deal, just... I wish it did fully work.

#MusicAssistant changed their logo and now it looks just like the #HomeAssistant one and I can't tell them apart when I have a ton of tabs open
New #MusicAssistant beta has dropped. They are making some UI changes that look good. They also added the ability to change the sync intervals for providers, which will be very helpful to make some sync things happen more often than every 12 hours.
Har fått igång #homeassistant och länkat den med #musicassistant . Men jag kan inte söka musik från HA appen utan behöver styra musiken från MA via en webbläsare. Kör i #docker och undrar om det spelar roll eller om det är så en får lösa det just nu? Frågan gäller kopplad streamingtjänst som spotify och Deezer. Lokal media beter sig som förväntat
People might like to know that @slackradio can be played by Music Assistant, and thus can be played by Home Assistant.

Dann wäre ich interessiert, den gebraucht zu erwerben. 
Geplant ist, einen Badezimmer-Lautsprecher via Bluetooth an #MusicAssistant anzuklemmen...

NO FREAKING WAY!!! I already used #AntennaPod to listen to podcasts on the go, and synced it via the gPodder standard to my local #Nextcloud, but I just found out #MusicAssistant syncs with it as well, meaning podcasts work in my house too with #HomeAssistant Voice PE! This is the future we were promised, and #opensource is making it happen! Why waste time on commercial spyware that is rarely interoperable?!

A sweet bonus: I also use #MusicAssistant with #Jellyfin which doesn't register anhy currently playing media streams on Jellyfin. But since I'm using #HomeAssistant to track the streams from various players, it all gets counted and also includes things like internet radio some of my devices use! #homelab

Die Installation war einfach. Einfach die Seite [1] in Chrome öffnen, das Board per USB anschließen und die Squeezelite Firmware installieren.
In #MusicAssistant tauchte dann direkt ein neues Wiedergabegerät auf. Nachdem ich den zweiten Esp installiert hatte, konnte ich die beiden zu einer Squeezelite Gruppe zusammenfügen und hab jetzt synchrones Audio in der Wohnung. 
Der Sound ist gut, soweit ich das beurteilen kann.

Ich versuche Schritt für Schritt meine Abhängigkeit von großen amerikanischen Unternehmen zu reduzieren. Heute waren zwei HIFI-ESP32 Boards in der Post. Die werden mit #MusicAssistant verbunden und hoffentlich kann ich dann irgendwann meine Alexas in den Ruhezustand schicken.

Is it possible to display new additions front and center in Music Assistant? I'd love to have something similar to Recently Played and Random artist/album on the Home page.
An alternative would be to have a 'recently added' playlist, for either albums or tracks?
I have my music on a remote share, but it's also on Jellyfin.
Oh! Oooh. That makes things a lot simpler.
I hooked up my voice assistant PE directly to my powered speakers and added it as a player in Music Assistant.
What is my old pie going to do now, running picoreplayer on it seems a bit redundant for my needs? Poor thing, it has served me well.
I can also use my phone as a player, though it doesn't work perfectly. Unless I keep the screen alive, the music pauses after a few minutes.
But, wow! Music Assistant is great!

Jetzt da Music Assistant ein Listenbrainz Plugin hat, bereue ich ein wenig meine LastFM Daten vor ein paar Jahren gelöscht zu haben. Die 10 Jahre Scrobbles hätte ich jetzt in Listnbrainz importieren können. :(

Does #MusicAssistant really classify everything as low quality that is not lossless? 
I get the distinction between lossless and lossy codecs, but giving both a 128 kbit/s MP3 and a 256 kbit/s AAC the same orange “LQ” badge is wild.

@MrMozz I have no experience of my own, but researched a bit about this: #jellyfin seems to work well with #musicassistant of the #HomeAssitant team to get multiroom audiostreaming going with pis and the new hifi HomeAssistent voice device.
