Are my search capabilities just shit?? But can anyone recommend good #bike lights? I like the GoPro mount feature as I have the peak design phone holder with the connection underneath but the state of bike lights is such a fucking mess. I want USB-C charging, and a max 800(ish) lumens but trying to find this is hard. Garmin has a couple smart options but I don’t use bike computers #ottawa #ottbike #biketooter
@grivettcarnac: Do you need headlights to see or to be seen? Or taillights? For to-be-seen lights: I can recommend Knog's bicycle lights. They either have USB C charging or an integrated A plug. Some are really bright. As USB rechargeable to-see headlight I have one from NiteCore. It's IIRC 1500 lumen, but it's older and still has a MicroUSB port. The successor has USB C + 1800 lumen: https://flashlight.nitecore.com/product/br35
Supernova and Lupine also have high lumen models, but I don't know if they have USB C.
@xtaran thanks for the recs. Our ebikes have great lights but just looking for lights for our individual/personal commuter bikes so a bit of be seen and to see. Will check these out cheers
@grivettcarnac: At least the products sold by Lupine and Supernova seem to be mostly tailored for mountain bikes and maybe less suitable for street usage. They're more full beams than low beams or "be seen" lights. The mentioned NiteCore lamps has both, full beam and low beam. (Which is one of the reason why I bought one.)
@xtaran the NiteCore are great and never came across them before so thank you!
