I hiked to the top of this big rock today in southern (Mt. Monadnock). Glad to make it up safely on this long steep section of trail (class II) as it had turned into a frozen over the winter (top right). Mild temps and light wind made for great weather. Wonderful views at the top in all directions!

@TimKStanton Ooh, white arrow! I’ve been wanting to see what the watery section looks like in winter and haven’t gone yet. It looks like you had a good hike today 🙂

Yes, it was a great hike. And it felt more like May than March. I was down to my base layer for most of the hike except for the summit where I layered up again. That steep section with the frozen cascading waterfalls was especially beautiful! 😀 🧊
