La marée s’élevait doucement dans le fjord, rien ne l’arrêtait. Si bien que les flots finirent par culminer à l’altitude tout-à-fait respectable de 2500m au-dessus du niveau théorique de la mer.

The tide rose gently in the fjord, unstoppable. So much so, in fact, that the waves eventually reached a respectable altitude of 2500m above theoretical sea level.

Les brumes cernaient les falaises enneigées de la Grande Casse. Celle-ci faisait mine de s’en moquer, mais pour être tout-à-fait honnête elle devait bien reconnaitre qu’il faisait frisquet, ce jour-là.

from Zurich to Lucerne, to Interlaken and finally Endes the day in #Montreux where I stayed for another two nights.

The combination of alpine and mediterranen flair is awesome!

Crossing the Thorung La pass on an early April morning, while the sun sets over these white mountain tops that surround you. At its highest point, the Annapurna Circuit is breathtaking. Also literally.

Snowshoeing with my friends up a very steep hill. I had my jacket tied to my waterpack and it somehow got loose and fell off at the top on the mountain. I realized this when we were at the bottom. I was ready to abandon the jacket, but my friends refused because it was a brand new jacket and so I turned back and ran up that hill so my friends didn’t have to climb it all the way again. Everyone I passed on the trail said, “YOU’RE the jacket person? We saw it, it’s still there.” Haha everyone was so nice and no one took the jacket. I burned so many calories that day.
