It's a sad commentary that a single person (no matter how rich) can take on the scanty burden assumed by the US over such an urgency.
@Doug_Bostrom What I find curious is that Trump and crowd make noise that these 'community activities' are too expensive. Given the cost as percent of the US Budget, they do not even as line noise in the US +$4 trillion budget. Not a very effective cost reduction- just political noise. Each $100 Million = about 0.025% of the US Budget.
Thinking of it another way, how many dollars of shampoo do we wash down the drain every day, in the US?
In 2022 it was about $9.8M/day.
But we can't afford to be healthy?
@Doug_Bostrom I have to say... I put no shampoo down the drain. No hair, no shampoo. Your point tough is well taken. Even plastic trash bags add up to enormous costs... and they are made to be trash.
