Too bad I didn't see this in the US news (propaganda?) stream.
"Bloomberg to fund UN climate agency after US exit from Paris accord"

@ManyRoads I still remember Bloomberg's warning when Trump was making his first run for president: "You do not want this guy as president." New York knew Trump well — and didn't like him.
@ManyRoads We need him or someone to get us accurate disease info since CDC and NIH are being attacked and we no longer are in WHO. Anyone know of a site. Can colleges like John Hopkins still post data?
@Stone1glo I'll check my sources to see if I can help find something
Here are some links:

The last is from APL, the JHU Applied Physics Lab
@ManyRoads @Stone1glo Thank you!
@ManyRoads @Stone1glo D’oh! Looks like Hopkins stopped updating it. :(
@mkb @Stone1glo That probably means that they no langer have feeds. Have you looked through UN resources?
It's a sad commentary that a single person (no matter how rich) can take on the scanty burden assumed by the US over such an urgency.
@Doug_Bostrom What I find curious is that Trump and crowd make noise that these 'community activities' are too expensive. Given the cost as percent of the US Budget, they do not even as line noise in the US +$4 trillion budget. Not a very effective cost reduction- just political noise. Each $100 Million = about 0.025% of the US Budget.
Thinking of it another way, how many dollars of shampoo do we wash down the drain every day, in the US?
In 2022 it was about $9.8M/day.
But we can't afford to be healthy?
@Doug_Bostrom I have to say... I put no shampoo down the drain. No hair, no shampoo. Your point tough is well taken. Even plastic trash bags add up to enormous costs... and they are made to be trash.
