So, take a #massive cylinder - rotating, natch, you want to use it for time travel or other #causality violations, why else would you have one? - say, 1000m in diameter, and pi times as long (why not?)...

If I've done the math right, the answer is approximately 55.74 billion tonnes.

THE LISBON BLUEPRINT - This map of Lisbon is presented as a blueprint. In Portugal, such reproductions were commonly referred to as "Marion copies", a case of genericide deriving from the ferro-prussiate reproduction process marketed by the British company Marion & Co. from the 1880s onward.

A map of Lisbon presented as blueprint, the reproduction technique derived from the cianotype imaging process invented by Sir John Herschel in the 1840s. The content in these copies is reproduced in white over a deep blue background - hence the term "blueprint". There is a text block on the top left with the title and description, and another at the bottom left with technical data.

OR, BETTER YET, ANCIENT STYLE - The top image shows a partial city plan of Lisbon in 2024, edited in a style resembling the oldest known plan of the city, depicted in the bottom image. This historical plan was originally drawn in 1650 by João Nunes Tinoco, a Portuguese architect.

The image shows two partial plans of Lisbon, top to bottom, with a text block between them. The plan on the top shows a small area of Lisbon with the 2024 street layout. The plan on the bottom shows the corresponding area with the streets as they were layed out in 1650 and is also the oldest known city plan of Lisbon. The modern city plan on top is rendered in a graphic style made to resemble the look of the older plan on the bottom. The text block between them contains the title, descritption and technical data.
