Any #DataScience people here?

I have a huge #BeaconDB dataset here, recorded with #NeoStumbler.

I would like to play around with it a bit, display densities of radio devices on a map.

I know #QGis, is it reasonably easy to import a CSV file there, assign the coordinates to some columns etc?

Alternatively I know a bit of #R, but #RStudio is #Electron now, so that could get a hassle XD

Btw, there is a #Fedora #COPR for R-Cran packages, how is the situation on #NixOS?

@markstos @oslandia We work closely with Qt contributors, and some #QGIS improvements have driven Qt improvements as well.
But for Wayland in particular, as @nyalld says, the support in Qt is more likely to be driven by Desktop managers like #KDE than specific applications.
If you globally want Qt apps to be better supported in Wayland, we can introduce you to the right contributors who will be happy to fix and improve support ( insert coins here ).

For their new Safe Streets Plan to reach #VisionZero, @alexkgellis in Providence, RI used my "Walk Potential" metric to better understand pedestrian demand in their city so infrastructure investment can be prioritized where it's most effective.

I'm considering rewriting the Walk Potential software as a #QGIS plugin. Let me know if that would make it more accessible for you to try!
