A former Invercargill councillor has a large gorse farm on a section she owns. She's been ordered to remedy the problem but she's intent on fighting the Council. Lord knows why.
Regardless of her motives, this is an awful thing to do to your neighbours and the greater neighbourhood.
Tree fern or Punga as we call them here in New Zealand
I love walking through the native bush filled with pungas overhead and ferns as ground cover, the smell of the earth, the birds singing in the trees I am so incredibly lucky to live in the most peaceful part of the country
An ancient bum rest carving and writings of the forest people of Kew. We have no idea what this means as this knowledge is lost to time

My calm place Awarua Bay
Behind me is the Tiwai Point Aluminium Smelter. It is surrounded by conservation land that includes this beautiful bay
Shots taken on different days at the same place - This is actually the ocean, across the bay is the road to the left is Bluff at the bottom of the South Island of New Zealand and to the right is Invercargill or as I like to call it… home

What I really loved about #newzealand is the art you can find everywhere. Not only do they have those nice gift shops in the big cities, where several artists share space for selling their art.
Also, you can find street art of their local birds in a lot of cities. In comparison, Germany is really desolate
