This appears to be, in other words, yet another cover-up by high church officials — in the Vatican itself — and the Jesuit community.
We are 20 years down the road from the big exposé of widespread abuse of vulnerable people by Catholic clerics, in the Dallas report of 2022, and church officials seem to have learned nothing — about transparency and accountability.
