Wow, what a wonderfully random #statue you may think. This is #Krodo, a Germanic god of the Saxons who is depicted with a fish (water/food), a sun cross (time), clothes blowing in the wind (wind/air), and a bucket of roses (love/fertility). Nobody knows if he was a real god or just a legend picked up by a 15th century chronicle (the author failed to mention any sources and contemporaries already had their doubts). Today's historians think it may be a fake, but the town of #BadHarzburg still uses him as a mascot. This statue can be found at #Harzburg castle.

Ich finde, Admiral de #Grasse sieht auch im strömenden #Regen aus wie ein Discostar.
