I took this photo of St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco) in 2022. I took it from a second-story window on the opposite end of the square from Saint Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco).

Location: Piazza San Marco (Venice, Italy)

I took this last year at St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco) in Venice. You can see Saint Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco) and St Mark's Campanile (Campanile di San Marco) in the distance. It is kind of nuts to think that this Piazza is under a foot of water, some times.

Venice, 1911. Not all the photos in the Fortepan collection are of Hungary or Hungarians. There are many photos taken around the world, either by Hungarians or part of someone's collection. This photo of five well dressed moustashed-gentlemen posing while feeding the pigeons in St Marks Square in Venice is but one example.
