Last week it was hot in Berlin, at around 35 degrees. It was so warm, that when I visited the Reichstag, they had closed the walkways in the glass dome on the roof. I was seriously disappointed. But I quickly saw that this situation offered the rare chance of shooting an empty Kuppel.
Because the ground floor and the two entrances were open, there were people inside for much of the time. But I stayed patient, and ultimately I was rewarded for that. I actually got a photo of the glass Reichstag dome, with no people in it. I'm very happy with this shot.

The former British Home Stores building on the corner of Renfield Street and Bath Street in Glasgow. Built in the 1960s, it replaced the early Victorian Renfield Street Church, designed by James Brown, which was demolished in 1965. It's been lying empty since 2016.
One of the fourteen Fern cottages built by the Oswald family alongside Crow Road in the west of Glasgow in 1863. Originally occupied by a community of local miners, these cottages were considered very modern when they were constructed as they had water supplied directly to them from Loch Katrine through Glasgow's mains water supply system, which had been opened in 1859.
