The San Juan Mountains in Colorado are an ecological gem! With habitats ranging from alpine tundra to dense forests, they support diverse wildlife like black bears, elk, and the rare Canada lynx. Snowmelt feeds streams and rivers, vital for plant and animal life.

Remember to practice Leave No Trace principles to help preserve this beautiful ecosystem!

@echoechoR Hi! I don’t remember how I stumbled across your account, but your profile totally resonates. I’ve been thinking a lot about ways to make research interesting and ways to bring life to presentations. I come from a background of #outdooreducation and a cornerstone of that field is experiential education. I often wonder why higher ed feels so disembodied. How can we bring #embodiment and life into learning at that level? Why do we have to hang out so much in our brains?
Not sure if this resonates with you, but thought I’d give it a try :)
