The only way to 'get rich' on #cryptocurrency is for other people to lose, a lot
I think cryptocurrency(+NFT's) is the biggest ponzi scheme in the history of hoomans so far
@kkarhan@mstdn.social@stux I've to agree and the only exception of the rule I know is #Monero but that's solely to it being unable to be abused for NFTs and other "bigger fools #Scam|s"...
Unlike all #shitcoins Monero actually aims to be a #payment system equally as convenient like #PayPal - if not far better...
But that's just me acknowledging that the core concept behind NFTs can be good but all current implementations are just "below" it's potential and usefulness...
@stux Granted, I know there would be good options to use NFTs, like a publicly auditable license managment for Software, Audio, Music and Video useage rights...
But OFC people will rightfully point out this doesn't need #blockchain and that it could just work with digitally signed posts on #immuDB instead...

@stux Either way, aside from #Monero, all #cryptocurrencies are absolutely useless for #payment - espechally #Bitcoin which only works as a tool for #CapitalFlight and #TaxFraud for ultra-rich that are too lazy to pay a dozen money mules to traffick cash for them.
