This Is One City. It's not the whole state, its not the whole country, it's not the whole world.

"L.A. Archdiocese has spent $1.5 billion over molestation by priests" Los Angeles Times

Similarly its not One Priest. Its not one diocese, not one congregation, its not one time.

A billion and half dollars. Thousands of abused children.

"...true number of abused ... much higher..."

Now think about men in positions of power, lying to gain more power.

Let me describe a landslide, let's put it this way, if you know someone who was abused by a trans man, or cross dresssing library helper, vote Republican.👈

But . . . . if you have a family member, if you know someone, if you ARE someone, who was -- or is -- being abused by a responsible man in a position of trust, vote Democrat.🔥

Because men in positions of power are still lying to protect themselves.

@kevinrns

The number staggers my imagination.

It’s so many people the very thought causes a wave of pain and fury.

@Pagan_Activist

Its as if all the criticism of power, patriarchy, money, self service were true and life and death important.

The purpose of democracy is the ability to say NO to power, first. Its first, most important strength.

Being able to craft good policy in a democracy is runner up.

Build democracy. Mutual Respect is Holy.
