#WritersCoffeeClub #Writing 07 What genre are you least likely to write? Why?
Christian anything. Or kids anything.
I couldn't write anything Christian with a straight face. My version of the gods in this WiP is enough to send me straight to hell (again) a dozen times…>=)
And kids are the world's toughest critics. If they don't like something they'll tell you in the most honest and harsh way possible. I like that, by the way…=)
I am unlikely to write anything Realistic.
In the beginning all literature was fantasy literature. Tom Jones was loved because it was realistic. Realistic since became the style of choice for adult entertainment and, I admit, I have enjoyed reading some novels in the Realistic style.
My writing, however is all Fantasy or Science Fiction.
@hairylarry
My is all scifi with fantasy touches, like, in this WiP, the fact that magic is better used with tech that by people, like electricity…=)
But I like to make things look "realistic" on the surface. But once you apply the microscope, or Cold Vulcan Logic, the realistic facade falls apart…=)
I'm all fey and wizards, etc.
@hairylarry
I have those, too. Most have prosthetic limbs since their learning days…>=)
