@feditips If I comment on a post I often receive a reply, but after hundreds of posts of my own, close to zero comments, even with lavish hashtags, and meta data for the visually impaired. I am beginning to wonder if there is some reason people are not seeing my posts? They have always had large followings on other social media like insta, tumblr, twitter when I was still using it, etc. What can be the problem?
@feditips@stoicmike You just received a new follower! If it weren't for the interactions, I wouldn't have seen your profile at all. It is important to interact and boost what interests us, and to remember we build our own feed. So fear not, explore the fediverse. You can follow other accounts that are not mastodon too. Like friendica, bookwyrm, picselfed and I doubt I spelled out that last one correctly, but you have a lot of choice and to be fair it's great!
