Agha Mohammad Khan Qajar was the shah of Iran in the 1790's. He was extremely cruel and violent, and his military victories came to nothing, at least for him personally. Here is an account of his death:

"...during Agha Mohammad's stay in Shusha, one night a quarrel arose between a Georgian servant named Sadegh Gorji and the valet Khodadad Esfahani. They raised their voices to such a pitch that the shah became angry and ordered both to be executed..."

"Sadeq Khan Shaqaqi, a prominent emir, interceded on their behalf, but was not listened to. The shah, however, ordered their execution to be postponed until Saturday, as this happened to be the evening of Friday (the Islamic holy day), and ordered them back to their duties in the royal pavilion, unfettered and unchained, awaiting their execution the next day. From experience, however, they knew that the King would keep to what he had ordered, and, having no hope, they turned to boldness...

"When the shah was sleeping, they were joined by the valet Abbas Mazandarani, who was in the plot with them, and the three invaded the royal pavilion and with dagger and knife murdered the shah. His nephew, crowned as Fath-Ali Shah Qajar, succeeded him."

I feel like the monsters who've taken over the US could learn from his story, although they won't. They never learn anything.

I'm not advocating for assassination, but like the servants we have a limited time to take action. They didn't wait for elections that wouldn't happen and neither can we.

What we can do, we are free to do. If these were smarter men, they would destroy the country more slowly, or at least start the brutal crackdown immediately. Instead, we are free to act...

...and the country is going to go downhill so fast that many, many people will be forced out into the streets. Knowing MAGA, once the crap hits the fan they may well make like the servants and try to kill these people. FFS, they've already tried to shoot Trump twice, and the GOP Congress critters are too scared to face their voters for a reason.

These mofos are doing exactly what this cruel and violent shah did. They've condemned us to death but left us free to act. Not very smart, is it?

I've been to nine in the last six weeks and they have all been completely peaceful. The anger is extremely intense, but ours is the nonviolent side.

Don't be afraid to go to the protests. The MAGAs are getting scared. They're not even counter protesting, let alone attacking us. Going to the protests isn't dangerous.

*Not* going is what's dangerous. We're all eventually under some sort of execution order here, but we are still free to act. Let's protest!

@MaryAustinBooks @staringatclouds I’ve seen allegations from some in the #MAGA crowd that these #Tesla protests are actually very biolent with some dealerships burned to the ground. Yeah whatever.

Mary Austin VOTED 4 HARRIS!

@Thumper1964 @staringatclouds
Yeah, I know there have been some chargers torched and I'm not on board with that. Hell, Teslas don't even need helping exploding. Why even commit arson??

But enough leopards eating faces though and MAGAs will be torching Teslas themselves.
