St Brigid update
So. It's finished and I'm delighted with the construction, but and it's a really devastating but, it's way way too big.
You see when I started it, I failed to take into account that I've lost a lot of weight these last 12 months, even though I reduced needle size and yarn weight to get gauge, it's still baggy as fuck.
So now I need to work out how much I need to reduce it and frog the entire thing and start again.
Thank goodness I enjoyed knitting this jumper
@BadgerBadger before you frog, can you wash in hot water and dry?
@amyshark I could, but I think that I need to take out all of the moss stitch panels and the outer braids to get the slimmer fit.
I also think that I need to drop down a needle size to 3.5 mm.
It's really odd, Alice Starmore is a genius designer, but the scaling on this is way off.
I've been looking at ravelry projects for this design and the over sizing seems to be a common issue
@BadgerBadger uggggggghhhhhh
