#WritersCoffeeClub 11/4: Do you find your writing skills or writer's instinct useful in other walks of life?
Being able to construct a decent sentence is pretty useful. So is being able to imagine another person’s perspective and how they might receive your beautiful sentence.
@vkblackwood
Definitely, every day, many times a day.
It makes me more observant of human interactions and coincidence knowing they might become part of a story. It makes me a better listener. Life and humans just seem more meaningful.
And it makes me a better story-teller and teacher in everyday conversations, even on Mastodon ;)
And it helps me write better software, better variable names and more explainable patterns.
