Review time again! Here's a concise look at the third party app Fedilab:
You can use it with Mastodon accounts (including forks like Glitch), PeerTube accounts, Pixelfed accounts and many other types of Fediverse account.
It's got a really nice array of options if you dig down into the settings menus, it does a lot of things that the official apps don't do. I've tried to summarise the good stuff in the review.

I've tried #Tusky and #Fedilab, where the latter is a clear winner, it has so many useful functions and features and it's being actively developed (updates almost every week).

If i interpret your review correctly: tapping on the timeline icon (for your currently selected timeline) in the bottom menu moves directly to the top of the timeline.
Basically a double-tap.
@feditips I use IceCubes and FediText for iPhone, because the former doesn’t let me add AltText on videos or GIFs. And the latter also has other useful functions.
@feditips I love #mona https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mona-for-mastodon/id1659154653 works great with #gotosocial and #mastodon

One of my favorite thing on Fedilab is the maximum number of character authorized by toot : 1312.
Ain't no kidding.
It's a free open source app which has been around for years and is well respected. The source has been open to inspection the whole time and as far as I know no one has seen it doing anything untoward.
If there's a specific point on that list that concerns you, I'm sure @apps can provide more info.

Yes, we can explain with pleasure. Each of these permissions is necessary depending on actions.
Some of them are requested only once an action is done (like post or download a media, record an audio message, etc.)
