If you go through my feed I've been posting videos and pictures and local news articles about the protests that are going on every day all over the United States.
At any other time in my lifetime, this would have been swamping the landing pages on every #media outlet. I just checked CNN, CBS, and ABC and NOT ONE SINGLE WORD. They're all like Baghdad Bob: "There are no Americans protesting!"
If that makes you as angry as it makes me, let the networks know!
@MaryAustinBooks The thing is, many of their local affiliates are covering the protests. They have access to the footage if they want to use it.

Absolutely. There is no parallel I can remember short of Baghdad Bob. Hell, at least that guy was funny!
@MaryAustinBooks I keep reminding people of this, most mainstream media is not reliable, they want people to feel isolated and like nothing is being done.

Yes! I just went to my 11th protest today since early February. I can't begin to describe how different this situation feels when you get out there and yell "Fuck Donald Trump!" in public with thousands of other people. The fear and anxiety evaporate and you get a cathartic expression of the anger.
That is indeed what the fascists DON'T want, so let's do it!

From a European perspective, it is comforting to hear that demonstrations against the Trump administration are gathering thousands of people together. I don't want to say all the unencouraging things that are in my mind. Keep protesting.

@MaryAustinBooks I am proud of MSNBC, almost every show has something on about it. I quit ABC in his first turned because they turned fascist way back then. Then Chris Licht at CNN and then the next CEO was even worse so I haven’t watched them in years. I did like Jim Costa though.

Heck, at this point I don't even bother owning a TV! I was just looking at their webpages. But apparently on the air it's no better.

Weird to put a propaganda station like OAN on the same list as actual news outlets IMO.

Yes, I doubt Fox and OANN have any sense of shame, although in NYC they do have weekly protests *at* Fox News HQ. I do think Cliff Cash's campaign to go protest at media headquarters has a lot of merit.

I am also using a leftover insta account to follow a bunch of activist and 50501 accounts and post protests here. I don't love being on a Zuck platform- that's my only non Fedi account- but I feel like it's more important to show people what Zuck and the other fascists don't want them to see.
People need to see other people protesting across the country and they need to see websites where they can find or start a rally. So please share the forums! It helps Americans protest.
