This Wes #Streeting guy is a real villain of a human.

For what it means to anyone (and everyone else's case is valid), when I had my mental health collapse, I didn't claim these so-called 'benefits', and still people looked at me like I was making it all up.

#WesStreeting 🤬. The same Streeting that talked of ‘widening waistbands’ so he could promote Ozemic and similar for obesity - while completely ignoring fast food, lack of education in healthy eating in schools, modern lifestyles, poverty etc - all of which contribute to obesity.
The same Streeting that uses the discredited and right-wing informed and totally biased Cass report to deny trans people their very lives.
The same Streeting that is making many thousands of health care staff unemployed while simultaneously complaining not enough people are in employment.
The same Streeting in charge of a health service that is horrifyingly over-stretched and short-staffed in nurses, doctors, mental health professionals.
The same Streeting that has received many thousands in donations from American vested interests in making money from people being unwell.
And that smug individual sits there talking about not profiting from those unwell or unemployed, or disabled, or all of the above.
He barely made it in as an MP - shame that he ever did.

Imagine the level of self confidence you need to have to have a degree in history and say such a thing.

Wes Streeting should resign. He is no position to make such a statement as Health Secretary and he should be rebutted by the GMC right away.
