Yesterday's #POTD #PictureOfTheDay from Geograph was erronously listed as the island of Barra. It is actually Vatersay/Bhatarsaigh

Note that the Ordnance Survey, whose mapping is used, uses the Scottish Gaelic names for locations in preference to English

Good morning folks. chilly baltic here today so I’m posting a summer looking shot of Vatersay beach (Outer Hebrides) It was April and warm enough to sit out in t-shirts although the water was freezing!

Here’s a #throwback to our honeymoon in 2020. We went on a #RoadTrip to the #OuterHebridies through #Skye and to #HarrisAndLewis It was absolutely the best experience and most beautiful place. Today I am excited as we plan to go back again this summer! This time we will also travel to #Vatersay and #Barra I can’t wait! The picture below is from #KneepBeach
