If you want that deep dive into what each episode of #TheExpanse was about, get to know what the real-world people behind the show are like, and you enjoy two friends waffling about a thing they're passionate about for an hour, while going off on tangents *all the time*, this is the show for you.

I know there are many people out there who would have zero patience for this kind of show. But if you're like me and you enjoy that parasocial relationship with people who make cool things, I highly recommend #TyAndThatGuy .

I'm probably going to start from the beginning, make this my goodnight story, and when I'm through their talk about every episode of the whole TV show, I'll enjoy rewatching the TV show with a new appreciation.

Started another rewatch of #TheExpanse while listening along to #TyandThatGuy, the podcast by Ty Franck and Wes Chatham, one half of James S.A. Corey and the actor that plays Amos Burton, respectively. I'm usually not one for behind-the-scenes, production podcasts, but they've got a fun dynamic and they truly love exploring the universe of the show.

It's tiding me over until the release of the #TelltaleGames Expanse series, which, while I've never played those types of games, looks quite good, and I'll take any canonical lore and expansion upon the universe.

There's also the #DragonTooth #comicbooks series coming out by #BoomStudios, which takes place between book #6 and book #7, which I'm extremely looking forward to.

With all the activity around the show still, even after it's supposed "final season," I really hope it's picked up by another studio for a final three seasons to finish out the books. The way Ty has spoken on the podcasts so far makes me feel like they're open to the possibility. My only fear is whether or not actors' contractual obligations elsewhere would allow for it.

I finished all the books/novellas, and have seen the TV show, but I just can't get enough of how wonderful and cool the universe of this series is. I keep coming back to it and I want more.

I used the think the coolest thing about was that Ty and Wes had the inside scoop on but now that I’m listening to their recaps, I realize there is some other magic there. Their ability to convey a love of storytelling is astounding. It doesn’t hurt that I agree with them about everything, either. Each moment discussed in the recap brought tears back to my eyes.
