An interesting description of the new stadium in Takamatsu, designed by SANAA.
One thing that rubs me the wrong way is the story about it being built on a "landfill" that was an "empty lot".

No. It was a park. One of the few large, public, free green spaces in the city where people could do things that don't involve capitalism and that the local government doesn't like.

One of the thickest fogs I've ever seen in Setouchi this morning. Most ferries to the islands are cancelled.

Oh well. I'll make my Setouchi Triennale 2025 debut tomorrow then.

If you're coming for the first time, this is a nice reminder (especially if you're very urban) that when dealing with the sea, nature often has the last word, and it is necessary to be flexible with your plans.

The Setouchi Triennale 2025 opened today, but as I had to work, this is my "experience" of opening day. I basically drove by the port on my way to the medical campus.
Fun fact: Makoto Aida is on the picture, can you find him? (I only realized that him and some other members of the Group 1965 were there after taking the picture).

For me the Triennale is really starting tomorrow. Stay tuned. (1/2)
