this one I really love, any painting that can get that much orange in the sky and still seem right is awesome. I would struggle to explain but that's what I'd say about it. Sometimes the universe does this thing and if you are there you can't even think. I like the posture of the horse and archer, I think they are in tune, they're feeling it too.

these are all by Nicholas Roerich and I love the scale. He chooses level of detail in a really consistent way, and his colors are great, they aren't natural, but they aren't far off, either. A translation of reality.
These are in the Himalayas, and we're above the clouds. 
This artist was an interesting person, an incarnation of a Dalai Lama apparently, and I'll be putting more of his work up as I go, I'm into his mystical & spiritual imagery
