A new young female showed up today and was able to get quite close to the mum with the bigger baby so I’m wondering if she is last year’s joey.
Mum’s joey is getting more curious and poking its head out more each day.
Another female wallaby turned up today and her joey is spending quite a bit of time outside the pouch. Second mum not happy when the boy tried to take her pellets.

Another girl with a more developed joey showed up today for some pellets.
Mum looks happy to see the sun but Junior is still in bed.
“Pretty sure it’s too wet and cold out there so I’m staying in here”

Just had some rain falling as ice but if you squint you could think it’s snowing 
Mum needed some extra pellets to get through the cold day.
When there is a crowd….. a new young female turned up with mum and the boy this afternoon. I don’t think she got any pellets but it’s good to see someone new.
Mum’s back! And she’s hungry!
Still no sign of Mum bu this young chap was hungry this morning.
Haven’t seen mum for a few days so here is a boy to take her place.

Mum decided that she didn’t want pellets. What she *really* wanted was a drink of water.
This little girl was rescued from a dam this morning by a wildlife rescuer. She's still cold and scared but safe in care now.
We've transported her to a carer where she'll be placed with a mob of joeys of a similar age and if all goes well she'll be released in around 12 to 18 months.
Waiting for breakfast be like…….
