After 1 hour, 48 minutes, two runs to my backing, and numerous jumps, was able to negotiate to the boat. A quick picture and release so he could continue his journey up river. I have been making fishing rods for about 35 years and started with fly rods but I do a lot of baitcasters and a few spinning as well as offshore / nearshore.
