good grief, my mind was so busy with all things I needed to do today I totally forgot @KateShaw has a new podcast episode out, as she always does:

strangeanimalspodcast.blubrry.

now I've listened and it's very good; she discusses some of the conservation problems with using genetic engineering to create so-called "dire wolves" and so-called "mammoths".

And she discusses real extinct animals like the actual dire wolf, and Epicyon!

Cette semaine j'ai rencontré 2 renards en pleine journée. C'est assez étonnant dans la mesure où ce carnivore au pelage roux, gris et blanc préfère éviter les humains.
Son naturel est plutôt timide et c'est tant mieux car il est très souvent détesté dans nos campagnes par toute une clique de personnes qui ne supportent pas les prédateurs, des chasseurs aux éleveurs en passant par des lambda réacs.
Je suis content d'avoir fait cette rencontre et d'avoir pu faire ces photos mais j'espère qu'il a été se mettre à l'abri des chasubles oranges.

Pour changer un peu des pigeons, ici une impression en noir et doré d'un "Canidé de toilette", gravé vers 2021.
On notera l'hommage au Tube de toilette de Boby Lapointe, chanson merveilleuse.
J'essaie de me décrotter des mille réflexions qui me tordent à propos de faire une expo collective. J'ai pas envie de faire un truc "propre" = conventionnel, mais j'ai pas envie de forcer les autres à me suivre.
Faut pas que je m'auto-embrouille. Tout doux.

Ma grosse main pleine d'encre tient une feuille de papier incrustée de feuilles d'arbre. Dessus est imprimée une lino de chien bizarre, type naif médiéval, qui se lèche le bas du dos en gigotant. Ses pattes et le haut de ses oreilles sont noires, le reste est doré.
