#Newfoundland launches a new ’buy local' campaign, 'Buy From Newfoundland and Labrador' with a yellow logo.
I guess this takes over from the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters NL (CME-NL) 'Manufactured Right Here' program, which used to have little Nfld flag rondels everywhere but I guess it kaput now.
Nifty, but.. won't yellow blend in with the jam jam packaging?

Looks like the apartment building redevelopment of the Max on New Cove Rd. might just go ahead.
It would bring just over 100 new apartments into the city, but more importantly, it is a change from the typical townhouse style apartments to something marginally more dense.
These would be walking distance to a grocery store, pharmacy, lake, river walking trail, and is on an existing bus route (#3).

Oo, #metrobus has a new.. bus (2439).
Rather seems to be the same, asides from lacking the driver COVID barrier, plastic instead of cloth seats, and refreshingly --- only one advert yet!
Actually, it uses stop/start - this is one of the new #hybrid models! (Metrobus has begun transitioning to an electric bus & hybrid bus fleet).
Looking back from the Parker's Pond access road, a hard road under a hard sky, crossed by drizzle and wind.
A few scattered reservists en route to the training grounds did pass by, pretty bumpy drive by the looks of it.

Well, there is indeed snow accumulating in the east end this morning. Switched to winter tires Sunday, did a couple more cars while I was at it so all ready for it. T'is the season!

The arguements are foolish. The t'railway already runs past yards on the other side (used to rent one of those houses on Squires Ave. actually), there is a huge parking lot for Bowring there as it is, and this patch of greenspace ain't great nor grand. Traffic is limited this side of the lights.
