Casting on a new baby blanket for a friend.

My usual blanket pattern is a monogrammed blanket out of Erika Knight's "Simple Knits for Cherished Babies" and my usual yarn is Knit Picks Shine Worsted in a navy blue aptly named "French Blue". I will be doing something fancy and intarsia purling in the monogram in white.

I have completed 20 rows, and then it will be about 80 more rows before I start to purl in the Monogram.

The edge of a blanket worked on a chiaogoo red lace circular needle. The yarn is a navy blue and a deflated skein leads into one corner of the blanket. There is a yarn wrapper indicating the yarn is Knit Picks Shine Worsted in color French Blue.

I know ya'll are jealous of my JoAnne:s GOOB no sew wolf blankets.

The big howler was a kit. The couch cover was a "Oh hey, we can get $30 worth of fabric for 10 and 3 yds can probably cover our couch and be extra plush comfy for The Dog"

Three years ago I finally finished my t-shirt blanket from shirts that had holes or didn't fit. It was quite an endeavor and I'd have been better off sewing it for many reasons, but I didn't have the funds for a sewing machine and hell no to hand sewing this much. It's a good decorative blanket all the same and I got to keep the band shirts.
