So, something important to keep in mind when you're using Twitter, or any other Big Social platform, is that they basically have ownership over everything related to you, even your identity. A perfect example of this is the recent saga of the Twitter username formerly known as X.

I've not quite decided for myself how problematic it is.
On the one hand 'Better the devil you know'.
On the other hand 'Why did I have to make a Facebook account for my son to be able to save his progress on Clash Royale in Supercell so he could take it from his old phone to his new phone?'.
But on the one hand again, what alternatives for a worldwide unique identity are there besides Twitter, Facebook, Google, Apple?
