While in Portugal recently, we had the great fortune to spend some time in Lagos. It immediately won me over.

To the right are two apartment entries differing on access ways. The entry in the middle has a tall, slight entry into a landing and stairway to the second floor. On the right is a landing leading to covered stairs and mid-level entry alongside a large, darkened window. On the second story of each section are windows in yellow molding. The rooftops alternate in angled shadows and sunlight, with some fabric loosely strung for shade.
