The constant drum-banging by the #TrumpRegime against #Canada is, from the administration's standpoint, a win-win. It gives them someone (else) to blame, no matter what goes wrong. It creates a convenient enemy. And it might extort concessions from the Canadians. Heck, under "ideal" circumstances, the pig might sing and Trump could emulate Putin's invasion of a "really they are just us" neighbor with one of his own.
