The main reason why people don't want to buy a Tesla and try to sell the ones they already own is vandals. Leftists love to spoil and destroy other people's property.
Lets run through the reasons to avoid Tesla.

Musk was not the founder of Tesla, just an early VC funder.
The more he has taken control over the design of the Tesla cars, the worse they have gotten.
Now not only are there alternatives even the German and South Korean ones available in the US are better than Tesla. Let alone the more advanced Chinese cars.
@stux also those alternatives have been around for years. The sales drop Tesla was immediately after the Nazi salute
