If I may interfere here,
I rode somewhere that
1- he have an IQ of 155, which is pretty strong, enough to manipulate quite everybody.
2- he is a sociopath, plus a psychopath wearing several psycho disorders (cf. https://mindpsychiatrist.com/is-trump-a-sociopath-or-a-psychopath/ among others ).
1+2 can let see that he has no moral, no compassion, no respect for nothing but his nostril, thus no friend, no true love, etc. He can be as deadly threatening as his IQ 155 allows him, and all he does since a month give a glance at how lethal he can be for all everywhere.
Then, I have this feeling on how his brain works: he tries everything which comes in his mind, being threatening or charming from one minute to the other, for any purpose, even the apparently stupidest ones, but it is always a wall of smoke, to distress, to confuse, thus to manipulate to gain everything he can for himself alone, awfully regardless of the consequences. The Earth can collapse entirely, he don't care. If it works, it's okay, well done, otherwise he is prompt to change his stance, even on 180° in a finger snap.
What he does with #Ukraine since ±10 days is crystal clear for that.
So, the key to understand his behavior is to find what he aims for him alone. All the remainder is just illusions & smokescreens.
He is the 2025 Antichrist.

No, but a rumor on anyone don"t need to be written by him/her self.
I dug a little deeper after your question, and it appears that I have probably been misled: his IQ is not formally established through a test, it is estimated here and there, waving from 73 to 156 with an apparent majority around 145, not 155 (which doesn't change that much and remains speculative). So, we can say he is not awfully dumb, that's all.

There would be much to say about the IQ test itself, its pro-Western bias, whether cultural, dominant/colonial, pro-liberal/libertarian, and others.
Be that it may, it is widely used, then it may fit sometimes (a friend of mine often said "no one is shielded against performing a feat"...)

@franebleu @stux Well, I don't know about you, but I used to work for the Trump Organization, and I've been in small rooms with Donald Trump with no press.
He is a fucking dipshit, whose only "quality" is that he inherited a few hundred million USD from his ruthless parents, and he surrounds himself with sycophants who see him as their meal ticket.
I definitely can believe that, but reality talks and he's clearly the world champ right now, and hands off the best demagogue I ever saw live.
I hope this ice-cold shower can guide you towards more truth and happiness. And a more collectivist approach of politics perhaps ?

@franebleu @stux Trump does one thing well, and that's swindle other people who are trying to get rich off of their relationship or association with him.
He's canny in the sense that he knows how to manipulate people's greed in his favor, and he never risks his own money if he can risk someone else's and there is no end of people willing to risk their money for him in the hopes that it will pay off for them.
Wherever he goes, there is a trail of bankruptcy in his wake, his own and others'.
