While I congratulate @Fairphone on their new logo, I cannot help but notice that they could have said "we got a new logo, here it is" without all that completely unnecessary and opaque verbiage:
https://www.fairphone.com/en/2025/01/13/fairphones-next-chapter-starts-now/
Just say "we have a new logo". Seriously. That's enough of an announcement. No need to go on for two pages about nothing at all really.
I mean, come on:
> No gimmicks, no noise—just purposeful design done right.
@rysiek @Fairphone let SMM people have their money
@ujeenator no problem, but can they at least not tout "no gimmics, no noise" in a unnecessarily gimmicky and noisy announcement?
@rysiek @ujeenator I read somewhere that the new logo fixes #fairphone's security update delays and their kernel that came last in a security review some months ago:

So, yes. We customers cannot live without a new logo.
@duxsco @ujeenator #CalyxOS works great on Fairphone 4, and gets frequent security updates.
@rysiek @ujeenator I use #CalyxOS, too, But, it's January 15th and the patch levels are as such:
I would say the 3rd and 4th are due to FairPhone's lack of motivation.
Bugs fixed by January 2025 patch level:

@duxsco @ujeenator fair enough
