At least a portion of my childhood ego was shaped by the early days of being in school and having my birthday be a holiday, before I ever knew who #MLK was or his importance.
As an adult, I am humbled to share my #cakeday with the observation of #MLKDay. He was gone before I was born but what a tremendous person to echo across decades and eventually centuries.
