Winamp to “open up” its source code

@osnews If the license becomes liberal, maybe we will see some sort of XMMS/x11amp + Winamp hybrid come along here! That would be so … strange. I started using Winamp some time around version 1.3 maybe (?), not sure. Likewise, used the builtin Shoutcast audio streaming feature as well, listening to internet radio channels (first for free at school, but then at home at random when I could afford dial-up). It was great and utterly lightweight.
I think I'll wait until I see the license.
