Finding up-to-date info about the new volcanic eruption in Iceland makes me think back to the heyday of volcano Twitter. In 2019, I wrote a feature for a now defunct Medium magazine where I interviewed volcanologists, emergency managers and people behind certain volcano Twitter accounts, including Glacier Peak in WA and Mt Shishaldin in AK ("a partner at a New York City tech startup who has long been fascinated by volcanoes").
