There must be something wrong with my microwave, the egg just explodes whenever I try this.

@lowqualityfacts You need to put it in water and poke a hole for the gas to vent...
That's not in the directions work on your exegesis smh
@lowqualityfacts On the equinox, you can hard boil an egg by standing it upright.
@lowqualityfacts you’re supposed to put it in a pot of water in the microwave
@lowqualityfacts I think the egg vessel needs to be made of wood or stone to balance out the eggsplosive energy
@lowqualityfacts They didn't say 'hard-boiled and unexploded'.
@lowqualityfacts To anyone reading, seriously do not do this. It's dangerous and you can hurt yourself. To the account holder, big fan, love what you do, but maybe rethink this one. There's always the risk that someone might see these posts without context and take them at face value, and while it's not much of a concern if someone walks away believing some inane fake fact, I don't think it's worth the risk of someone trying this IRL.
@junipart @lowqualityfacts I think that if they're taking low quality facts seriously, they probably have bigger issues in life than an egg explosion
@Karnbot13 @lowqualityfacts I'm not a huge fan of victim blaming personally. I'd rather take the precautions to make sure it doesn't happen rather than chide people afterwards that they should have known better. Like I said, I'm not usually concerned if people believe these facts, but because this one could actually hurt people I think it's an issue that's worth considering.
@junipart @lowqualityfacts Sorry mate, but it isn't victim blaming. They bear the same responsibility if they were going to attempt construction without learning or asking about the planned task. Many tools can cause a problem when used incorrectly, a microwave being one of them
@lowqualityfacts This will cause no problems as long as you do not turn the microwave ON for the 92 seconds.
@lowqualityfacts I think this really is a low quality fact.
@lowqualityfacts Wrap it in duct tape first.
@lowqualityfacts I am not sure what happened but at 92 seconds my egg was fine but my microwave exploded!
@lowqualityfacts I thought it was my microwave too, but it turns out this only works with cornish hen eggs.
Well, it works, if you use a small pressure container with some water.
@lowqualityfacts On Everest it takes 9² hours.
@lowqualityfacts What if I put it in for 93 seconds
DO NOT MICROWAVE EGGS.
I know this is a joke, but people have sustained horrible facial burns from microwaved eggs. It's best to just boil eggs the old-fashioned way.
DO NOT MICROWAVE EGGS.
@lowqualityfacts My mom tried this when we got our first microwave in the 80's...
