@kkarhan That's not true, more than 90% of China's emissions are coming from their internal consumption. Only about 9% is exported.
Big middle class population combined with the rising standards of living based on fossil fuels use is the main contributor to their growing emissions.
@jackofalltrades @GreenSkyOverMe @rahmstorf that completely ignores the fact that industry is still the major consumer of energy - both primary and secondary - and the fact that most of the production from the "P.R." #China is for #Export.
I'd rather say that at best "domestic" production and consumption is 10%
