@kathimmel@mstdn.sociali'm redoing my illustration website in html & css to, i hope, make it less burdensome on the planet's resources. in the past, i've had a full page dedicated to a gallery of my art. i'm considering scrapping it &, instead, using one compilation illustration as a footer.
opinions (not about my art. i couldn't bear that)? is this enough to give people an idea of my style?

@kathimmel It's enough to give an idea for the homepage and perhaps carried site wide as the footer, but maybe your visitors would appreciate some sort of gallery/slideshow on a secondary page? (this sort of thing is pure CSS https://codepen.io/rokobuljan/pen/XXzqKQ)
@rooftopjaxx cheers. i know how to make a gallery in css. it's just that i wanted to streamline my site by reducing the burden of a lot of images.
